I went overboard last year in their store in Madrid. I found these amongst the huge bunch of unpublished files scattered around my laptop. This was such a great night at my best friends house - hot meal, good wine, delicious desserts and great company Saci had just got her new toy - the old film Holga camera from ebay, so before dinner we were playing out front. I love the aztec knit piled over the top of her mismatched outfit, which coincidentally went well with our mismatched meal: Spicy vegetarian dumpling soup, followed by chilled chocolate dipped strawberries and almonds, and finished with hot self saucing caramel puddings, homemade ice cream and good old peppermint & english tea... and now I miss home....

We made a special trip to Michelangelo's Square today for you... I've been a bit slack taking the camera out, mostly because our trips are so random. Most mornings I squeeze my eyes open for a latte at the bar downstairs, and sometimes we dont come home until after dark. I've barely gotten to the part of remembering not to wear my PJ's for morning coffee, let alone take the camera and all the other survival items one needs when venturing out The sun was out and it was a light 18 degrees, perfect for riding the scooter around the city outskirts, catching random images from the back of the bike, stopping only for Cappuccino's and Cream filled croissants  It really is such a magnificent city - its easy to overlook the beauty when your in the trenches with the rest of the locals.
