Every season, she elaborates a collection that remarks her own model of women while still incorporating the newest trends. MSFW outfit day 5

Day 5 of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and I decided to leave the heavy canon at home, and enjoy the days events without the pressure of capturing images. I thought I would share a few outfit snaps before I left home - once again, all decked out in my Spring Collection - this time wearing the floral box pleat skirt & white long sleeve top with the feathered cuff detail. Not quite complete without a few runway snaps, these are the few I took on my instagram while at the MSFW City Square event Instagram:@RadaPriya

MSFW Designer Series - the one with bare bodied boys

The weather bit hard last night, but nothing could dampen the mood of fashionistas attending night 4 of the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Designer Series. Baseball caps and bare bodied boys had me reminiscing of the hoods and back streets of New York City (only that I saw sailors instead of  gangsters, being that it was June and 'Fleet Week' at the time! ;)   The girls held their own with funky shades, sleek blond and black highlights, and sexy hem lines that varied in respect to the calibre of designers on show. Overall a unified production styled by Peter Simon Phillips, The Stars:  FRIEND OF MINE,  FROM BRITTEN P/L  ,  LEOPOLD,  LIMEDROP,  NOBODY,  STRATEAS.CARLUCCI,  WHITE SUEDE Plenty also from off the catwalk Finally met MSFW resident blogger Alice, after a week of religiously following her twitter and post updates    Zara managers Adnan & Peter Soffa, Bree & Connel Chiang What Would Karl Do blogger Jess I wore

MSFW Designer Series 2

Designer Series 2 was a completely different story to the evening previous.   Alice Euphemia ,  Arthur Galan AG , Carly Hunter,  LIFEwithBIRD , Jayson Brunsdon,  Manning Cartell ,  Thurley , and YB J`aime by Yeojin Bae showed off wearable everyday designs, with an overall more casual feel than the opening series. Not without highlights, Yeojin Bae really shone with gorgeous lace and prints in eye melting colours READ FULL POST HERE  ☞

a moment for Vogue

The exquisite Lana Del Rey stopped me in my tracks today. I was darting through the supermarket, the October Issue of Vogue Australia fresh on the stand, where I momentarily got lost taking in the cover. The editorial inside alone is worth picking up a copy for yourself. Nicole Bentley photographed the starlet in Gucci (cover) Stella McCartney, Jil Saunders, Roland Mouret, while the article speaks intimately, haunting, quirky... MORE HERE  ☞

MSFW 2012 Series 1

Stellar start to the MSFW Designer Series that left me almost squealing with excitement! "Thank the fashion God for Spring 2012" I tweeted, as look after look graced the catwalk. Ellery stole my heart with their silky Palazzo's, Christine had the colour popping prints, and those gorgeous exposed metal zippers on Maticevski... finally a full season that speaks to me in volumes Snapped front row below is some of my favourites, the gorgeous writings of Sarah aka StyleMelbourne , Phoebe The Lady Melbourne , Micah & Jesse of RAWW , Jess reflects What Would Karl do , new meet Leeyong, echo enthusiast and writer   (so nice meeting you!) 100 years of Wittner

Halleluja! Spring showed off today with a balmy 24, just in time for day 2 of MSFW. The day kicked off at City Square with the Wittner runway event. It was a must see for me, being quite the fan of the Melbourne born brand. With my favourite pair on foot, my legs came out of hibernation in this little leatherette number, a style from my current SS12 collection, for one very fun runway show. The models danced and shimmied down the runway, and it was hard to wipe the smile off my face. I met the lovely Leeyong from Style Wilderness  and got front row views of some serious shoe candy. I'm loving Isabel Marant sneakers at the moment, and Wittner has the best interpretation of the French label's famous style, and soon to be joining my Wittner collection :) My runway dates Drew & Jack

Today isn't like other days

I'd rather be out & about for the first day of Spring, but being stuck in bed had its advantages, tea, tissues and sunshine Amongst the collage are two looks from my SS12 collection - excuse the quality, as I shot with the iPhone to show a friend. The first is the cream wool & jersey short suit. The shorts are high waist and tailor fit, while the shell jacket has stretch jersey sleeve - comfort please! I've also hand sewn one cuff with glass beads and Swarovski crystals, my version of a wrist party! The second look is very girly, cropped shell top and full skirt is contrasting lilac floral prints. All pure cotton, the top is fully lined with open end zip front, to wear layered while Spring finds its balance in the weather. The collection is Made to Order. More details soon Happy Spring!
