CHECK OUT today's candid shots of these young Florence trend setters (I snuck a pic of me in there):  australiandesignmadeinitaly.blogspot.com

I moved to Italy for
Its impossible for me not to love a city where spending that extra time in the morning to create your daily look is so appreciated. Despite driving your boyfriend mad, he, being European, will not let the effort go unnoticed - nor will the other hundred Europeans you pass as you cross the through the city.
I have found the cliche to be true; if you ever feel rejected, broken hearted, lonely, or simply having a bad hair day, walk down any street in Florence or Rome. Your sure to find a cure in the open and down right blatant attention you will undoubtedly attract from the macho male race that reside in these places.
Tip: If it the attention becomes overwhelming, pick out a nice looking man. The one thing the European's don't tolerate is a woman being harassed. Its sounds like a catch 22, but if you are in the company of a gentleman, the wolf whistling will promptly cease.
Figuring out how to get rid of the gentleman is a different story. But the question is, do you really want to? You are all dressed up and feeling out of sorts; Having a drink and slice of pizza is a win win?! Your in Europe!

Vision board

A lovely friend shared Pinterest with me recently. I don't quite know how to navigate around it, or what its all about, but I do know that I now have the easiest way to catch images that inspire me everyday. I gather that its like instagram or twitter where you can share and re-pin posts - I just havent gotten that far yet. When you sign up you download a Pin It tab to your nav bar, so when I'm surfing my favourite blogs, I can capture the images that most inspire me to one page - something like this: You can follow my pin board , sign up and start your own. I have found it very useful, and hopefully soon I'll get the gist of how it actually works

Pyjama Partay

I woke up at a leisurely 5pm yesterday, right as my brother, sister and her partner piled into the house announcing a cinema jaunt in 15 minutes. I was glad to be pulled out of my coma, and even more glad that the Pyjama pant trend has officially hit [in europe anyway :s]. Wearing my bed clothes and a Zara knit, we grabbed a few shots before heading up to the cinema - only to find the film we were seeing was not actually playing! In my sleep state I also didnt notice a friend right behind me... discovered late last night when looking back through these pics! random Anyway, we changed cinemas and ended up seeing Young Adult - Great Film! Wearing Pants from Tempt / Zara Knit / Earrings from Nimbin [ thus the rainbow] / Whittner shoes / the bag [i love it!] is Saci's most recent vintage purchase  We are having another stall at the South Yarra Market this Saturday [4th] Its from 11am to late... but the market part wraps up around 3pm. We had a ball last time. Ther

LIBERATED HEART X GLOTATTS X SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS

My girls at Splendour in the Grass. The Mini Splendour area was crazy fun. GLOTATTS sponsored the event so that all the little celebrity kidless got their sparkle with tattoos and glitter. Overall what a perfect last day to a hugely successful festival!
